Holy shite! And here I thought I was doing good to get a 16GB Cruzer for $30 b4 Xmas.

Well, to be fair, this is really only an announcement of the spec. I'm assuming it'll be a while before someone finds the right way to cram all those bits in there. I got an $80 16GB microSD card a couple of months ago for my G1 and it works /great/. SanDisk says they'll have that up to 32GB very soon (and 64GB right behind that) -- if things continue to double every 6 months like this, then "soon" should be somewhere 'round Q1-2012 ;-)

Will have you seen the new Palm Pre and the webOS? I am tempted and thought of you when I saw the open source API

I have seen the Pre announcements. Looks very nice (and I'm luvin' the fact that mobile, as a platform, is finally opening-up). I should; however, admit to an extreme bias for Android. I'm likely to do all of my own development there first and eventually port any hits over to Palm, S60, and iPhone.
